Texas Hold'em
I talked with Trav, andrew and alyssa about this a few nights ago and they seemed down so ill extend the invite to the rest of you. i was planning on setting up a poker game at my place. the game would be texas hold'em and you need $10 to play, we'd put all the money in a pot and id give you guys $10 in chips of varying worth. we'd pretty much play for pennies, the idea is to have a long fun night of gambling. i want to play for money because if no money is involved i dont take the game seriously and i tend to take risks i wouldnt normally take, same with my brother, so for the sake of keeping it sporty and hopefully preventing it from getting out of hand you gotta put $10 on the line. if you guys are still interested we need to set a date, i was thinking of doing it Nov. 24, 25 or 26 at like 8pm when i get home from work, gimme some feedback so we can set a date somewhat soon.
here are some websites explaining the game and rules and whatnot for those that dont know them and are interested.

i suggest reading all three of those links for anyone who doesn't play this game regularly, knowing that info will make the night go much smoother and be less stressful, but we will have a few practice hands in the beginging just to make sure everyone gets it.

I'm all in!

update: bring two $5 bills instead of a ten. the first game we will play with $5 just to see how long it will last and all that crap, also, i dont know if i have enough chips for everyone to have $10 worth without the chips being too expensive. if we all had fun with the first game then well throw in our other five and play again, you can always bring more money if you want but i doubt it'll be needed.
