BJ, as a resident of the 209 and all it's glory (sarcasm) I detest you calling Modesto a town from Fallout. Modesto is much more like a poor POOR mans Oakland in that it has its good and bad parts. The best part of Modesto is still when you're leaving it though. The mall has actually gotten A LOT better in recent years (no joke). I can say with confidence that it beats out Southland and hulk smashes Gayfair (if that's really saying much). The problem with Modesto (like most of where I'm from) are the people. They're idiots. I'm not going to waste time explaining how or why, just take it for what it's worth. If you want a town from Fallout, I recommend visiting the east-side of Turlock/Hilmar Area. Now there's a fucking shit hole.
