Filming, Hurrah!
As many of you know it has been forever and a day since we have filmed. It is understandable, we are no longer high school students with an abundance of free time. We all have jobs or school responsibilities and for that we can be pardoned, to a degree. But very soon Travis will begin working on AVID (finally!!) and he will need footage to edit. Sure he could get some crappy stock footage but we talked it over and decided that we want to start filming again. Our expectations are not set at the place we left off, in terms of people participating, but we know that we can make some really great pills.
Because of everyone's conflicting schedules, we (the roomies) have decided on a pill that could be done without everyone if that is what happens. We call it, tentatively, A Day in the Life of Purple Drink. You guys remember Purple Drink, right? How could you forget that six year old neighbor of ours?
Anyways our idea is just to have short snippets of events happening in Purple Drink's day, all of which are really strange for a 6 year-old, or really just strange for anyone. If any of you have met him you know that he naturally has a funniness to him. It's what happens when you are 6 and all the things you do are charming and not quite annoying. His speech tends to slur when he gets excited, he is prone to outbursts (screaming weird things like WOO, WOO, WOO) and insanely funny profanities. "I'ma pimp slap you!" Sometimes I wish we had a camera rolling when he is around because the shit he does is just hilarious. He has agreed to do it and I think his young nature will help with the over all feel of the pill.
Basically, it is something small, manageable yet creative to begin with. We are not looking to make masterpieces but we don't want to do the same old thing we've always done. We are looking for more ideas and help and if anyone is interested then let us know. I know everyone will be happy to start filming again. So yeah, if you have any more pill ideas feel free to write them out!!
I also started a new Youtube page for us to use. I'm starting to add on the videos that I have. Anyone can use it, just let me know and i'll give you the password.
