Sorely disappointed. How can you say you're giving a warrior's farewell when it's more akin to a goodbye letter from a traitor? How dare you attack us pirates for being human. Remember, everyone, even pirates and ninjas, have feelings. The fact that you cannot see that is depressing to me. What's more depressing is not you relinquishing your pirate title...no..that's your own shame to deal with. It's the fact that you are ashamed of ever 'pretending to be a pirate'? Listen Matt. We don't have a boat. We don't have weapons. We live in homes and not the high seas. But damnit, we have pirate spirit. We live the life vicariously, because as of now it is impossible to live the life of one unconstrained by the boundaries of life. But we are a crew, nay, a brotherhood committed to making that plunge when and if the day comes. Maybe not all of us cling to as strongly as others; maybe some of us are already doubting the pirate creed. But for those of us who have not abandoned it, we eagerly await the day we make our boat, and sail the seas, and say "ARRRRRRRR!" Goddamnit, because that is freedom. But I guess none of that is real, right? I guess you have to go back to your 'warrior code' or whatever. Matt, warriors do not exist anymore. They've been replaced by soldiers. The path you think we should have taken is one that was abandoned a long time ago. But I digress...
